Charming. Light. Airy. Cozy. Warm. Slightly Rustic. With A Hint Of Glamour.
The Master Bedroom at Project Spielman encompasses the warm and fuzzy feelings you expect from a master retreat. From the moment you walk through the french doors your overwhelmed by the refreshing glow of natural light. The immediate view of wall to wall windows overlooks a flower filled canyon. Bringing the outside colors and textures in, was an important piece of this design.
After the consultation, I knew right away we were going to include a hyde rug, sitting bench and hints of gold... this would make both husband and wife happy, and happy clients are my favorite ;) Once I began pulling furniture pieces together, like the GORGEOUS deconstructed club chairs and textury kilim bench [[ blogging about these and other beautiful pieces another time! ]], the other pieces like lamps, wall accents and decor started coming together. Adding subtle touches of lavender and peony further softened the more transitional style furniture the client already [[ Z Gallerie bed and dresser ]].
The icing on the cake are those curtain sheers and gold rods. I feel like curtains are often overlooked or overthought. In this space we simply wanted to frame the bed and allow the natural light to still pour through the windows... these champagne color sheers have the perfect amount of shimmer and add to the rooms natural light and airy aesthetic.
I don't know about you, but this makes me want redo our master bedroom! Enjoy!!!
