“I AM COMMITTED TO PROVIDING A SIMPLE, WORRY FREE, CREATIVE AND INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE.  MAKING THE DECISION TO REMODEL OR DECORATE IS DAUNTING, BUT EQUALLY EXCITING!  tHROUGH CONSISTENCY AND COMMUNICATION, I AM ABLE TO BUILD A CLIENTS TRUST AND PEACE OF MIND; BOTH ARE EQUALLY IMPORTANT AS THEY ARE THE BUILDING BLOCKS TO DELIVER A THOUGHTFUL END RESULT AND BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED HOME.”

Summer Meddock, her husband Matt, son Marley (3), daughter Makena (2) and littlest son "Shae Shae" (1) live in sunny Costa Mesa, California.  Both Matt and Summer are Orange County natives and agree that "life is better at the beach". While they enjoy the laid back Southern California lifestyle, these two creative entrepreneurs also want to live a life of purpose and adventure.

"I've watched God work out lots of details in my life.  I'm not sure I would be where I am today, if it weren't for His love and graciousness. I believe in opportunity and I believe in dreaming big, but most of all I believe in living intentionally." ~ Summer Meddock

Having grown up with creative, active and entrepreneurial parents, Summer always envisioned a future of owning her own businesses and bringing her own designs and concepts to life.

"I want to teach our kids what my parents taught me... that nothing is impossible when you love what you do and put your mind to it". ~ Summer Meddock

Summer graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising with a degree in Merchandise Marketing. During this time she worked for one of the most established and well known cosmetic & skincare companies, Estee Lauder.

"I really wanted to start my own cosmetic line. FIDM was the perfect starting point to get educated in all aspects; from concept to creation. I also designed a small line of fashion forward handbags, "Summer Blair" during and after my time at FIDM" ~ Summer Meddock

From designing swimsuits as a little girl to handbags as a young adult, Summer's managed to harness the creative space in all that she puts her hands to.  When their oldest son Marley was only a few months old, Matt & Summer opened the doors to their first of two [[ with more on the way! ]] fast-casual restaurants, Sessions West Coast Deli in Newport Beach and launched their handmade sign business, Hemp & Wood, which originated in Yorba Linda, making its way to Newport Beach and Huntington Beach.

"As if motherhood wasn't busy enough [[ LOL ]], I wanted more... better yet, I knew there was more. I'm the type of person who can't get bored and complacent, otherwise I'm miserable [[ miserable to be around that is; so Matt is thankful I stay busy with things I love! ]].  Hemp & Wood was an amazing outlet for expression.  It was a season where I built great relationships with other creative like minded people.  Hemp & Wood taught me what it looks like to persevere.  It also set the stage for a much needed rest, which ultimately led to the birth of our newest baby, Meddock Interiors." ~ Summer Meddock
