Hey there!

Welcome to my blog. My name is Summer and I love to share my adventures in marriage, beauty, style, home and travel. I hope you feel inspired!

My favorite Free People pieces, right now!

Happy Sunday Eve, I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Today was full for this mama…. I started the day by waking up with a latte at 6:00 am. After getting ready, I met up with my worship team at 7:30 am to prep for our morning church services. I can’t tell you how much JOY this brings me!

We had friends in town all week, but they left today. So after church we said our goodbyes and then had a quick lunch at home. I got to have a nice treat in the afternoon… shopping and errands kid-free, can I get an AMEN!?

I’ve had my eye on this jumper from Free People and wanted to scope it out in person, to see if it was actually as cute as it looks in their catalog.

Sizing can be a challenge sometimes as it truly depends on the garment’s fabric and cut. The Salt Lake City shopping center I wanted to visit, wasn’t open today so I hit Free People on Main St in Park City - much better choice anyways. I love Old Town Park City, there is so much history, and my favorite coffee shop, Pink Elephant, is on Main St., bonus!

They had the jumper I’ve been wanting to try on and soooo many other amazing pieces to add to my collection. I’m about to purge some old denim and other pants that don’t fit anymore which will make room for some of these new pieces I just snagged!

I SCORED on this shopping trip at Free People!!!!

So here’s the deal with sizing and something I suggest you consider…

I sized up in two of the denim pants I bought, not intentionally, but they were out of my regular size, so I opted to try on what they had available. Surprisingly, I ended up LOVING the looser laid-back fit when I sized up.

I’m usually a size 25 in denim… however

in the Osaka Jeans, I bought 27 (trust me, the loose fit is epic!) and in the Tinsley Baggy Denim Pants, I bought 26 (they fit on my waist but have a slightly looser feel in the leg and crouch area).

Osaka Jeans - Size 27

Tinsley Baggy - Size 26

Below are the pieces I purchased, along with some of the other pieces that I tried on, but didn’t bring home… You can’t always get them all, sadly LOL!
